Who is the Free plan for?
The Free tier is intended for personal, ministry, educational, and other non-commercial use. No account or credit card required. If your website sells products or services, or otherwise operates for direct commercial gain, you can still install and evaluate BibleBridge free for 7 days from first activation — after that, continued use requires a paid subscription. See our Commercial Use terms.
What's the actual difference between the plans?
Bible reading itself is unlimited on every plan, including Free - there's no reader cap to worry about. Paid plans (Growth and Scale) unlock Scripture Atlas exploration, cross-references, reading plans, and the chapter/verse/Scripture Atlas embed shortcodes, plus commercial use. Scale adds higher capacity for search and other API-backed features, plus priority support.
Is it safe to install on our church website?
Yes. BibleBridge installs as a standard WordPress plugin through your admin, isolated from your other files like any other plugin. It never touches your existing database or pages. Uninstall is clean: deactivate and delete in WP admin.
How do I install it?
Install from Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin. Search "BibleBridge," install, activate. Your Bible is live in under a minute.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your site gets its own API key automatically on install. To upgrade or manage billing later, claim your site from the plugin's settings page. That's the only time an email is needed.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
Bible reading itself is never affected. If a metered feature like search hits its daily limit, readers see a friendly "temporarily unavailable" message for that feature only. No charges, no overages. You're never billed more than your plan price. Limits reset at midnight UTC.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, anytime from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Which translations are included?
All plans include the King James Version (KJV) and the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). Both are public domain with no licensing restrictions.
Is this actively maintained? How do I get updates?
Yes. BibleBridge ships updates regularly: new features, bug fixes, and translation improvements. Updates appear in your WordPress admin alongside your other plugins. One click to apply.
