Questions

What does "daily readers" mean?
Each time someone reads a chapter, searches, or explores a topic, that's one request. A typical reader uses 5-10 requests per visit. The free plan handles about 35–50 visitors per day comfortably.
Is it safe to install on our church website?
Yes. BibleBridge is open-source, security scanned, and runs inside its own folder. It does not modify your existing database, WordPress install, or other website files. If you ever want to remove it, simply delete the biblebridge folder. The code is publicly available on GitHub and actively maintained.
How do I install it?
Download the ZIP, upload to your web server, and visit the URL. The setup wizard walks you through it — under 2 minutes.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your install gets its own API key automatically. If you later want to upgrade or manage billing, you can claim your install from the settings page — that's the only time an email is needed.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
Readers will see a friendly message that the reader is busy. No charges, no overages — you're never billed more than your plan price. Limits reset at midnight UTC.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, anytime from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Which translations are included?
All plans include KJV, ASV, WEB, YLT (English), Reina-Valera (Spanish), Louis Segond (French), Luther 1912 (German), Almeida RA (Portuguese), CUV (Chinese), KRV (Korean), and Ang Dating Biblia (Tagalog).
Is this actively maintained? How do I get updates?
Yes. BibleBridge ships updates regularly — new features, bug fixes, and translation improvements. Your install includes a built-in remote updater: one click inside your reader settings pulls the latest version and replaces itself safely, with automatic rollback if the update fails. No re-downloading, no manual file uploads.
